Yellow

Yellow

A Story by CindyCinnamon

Today was different, I would no longer be sheltered in by my over protective parents. I threw my clothes into a faded out yellow duffle bag. It was an unsual type of Yellow, it was not the usual happy color it should be. But it was still in the yellow color family, I guess my emotions made this yellow fade. Anyways my parents were at work and my brother was downstairs consumed by whatever he does really. Where did I fit in? Was it even possible for me to fit in? Where was I...I was on the front porch about to drown myself in the snow. My eyes were really watery and glassy, it was time to decide. I picked up my duffle bag and took of my shoes slowly walking down the stairs and turned around. The door shut silently behind me and I ended up in my room again. No one would ever know my sad attempt in escaping.
