Sometimes it gets a little ugly in here

Aint noone alive enough to take out the trash

So it just sits and rots inside

Dark raised lines, these raw gaping wounds

It aint as pretty as in the movies

That sits inside until someone’s brave enough to

Slash it away

Sometimes it gets a little ugly in here

It gets all damp and creepy crawlers drag about the messy floor

That basement where he was chained to, that’s where I am again

Thinking about how his eyes must have buldged out of their sockets

When they wipped him and didn’t give him enough food

Everything taken away

Everyone dies sometime

Crimson blood decorates my arm in these spiral patterns

Chapped lips drink lemonade at midnight

And there aint no one there to care about looks

Ugly is beautiful when we’re running and sweating and we’re jumping and kicking

And ugly is beautiful when darkness is functional and it jumps out at night

To rescue all those scared folks that light is useless in
