Dyke

Dyke

A Poem by Kaden Elias Sylvers

Are you a boi or a grrl

well I don't think you care

under the dark of the night

shut up cuz I'm not a dyke

I'm skinny like a boy

but I want to look like a man

Are you one of those peeps

who say call me hir please

But I don't really care

about these labels you try on

You're some butch boi,

androgynous femme,

but I want to look like a man

You're into the girl I'm not,

the body that I despise,

but my mind thinks like a man

That dyke looks so hot

with her tattoos and punk hair

but she's into a girl

who will never exist

Are you a boi or a grrl

well I'm neither I'm a man,

You can call me trannyboy,

and no I won't be your dyke.

man, this is pretty bold right there and damn, you speak the truth.
wish you all of the best of luck in being who you are and speaking up.

A strong declaimation of whom, you are, Kaden. I really like it. Sadly too many people get stuck on labels, which really don't match who we are, as people. Wish more people were open and upfront about themselves, as you are.
