There is a place.

There is a place.

A Poem by citymouse
"

I was just thinking of when I was younger

"
There is a place were my hart is strong.

There is a place where tears have never fallen.

There is a place were memory rules.

Green,

until it turns to red

Warm,

Until the snow fills the trees.

But, always home.

There is a place where his hand held mine.

There is a place where he and I were children.

There is a place where ghosts hold court.

Tears,

for what could have been

Smiles,

for what was.

But always home.

There was a place where we burned, bright, and young.

There was a place they never saw.

There was a place where my hart was strong.

Maybe I will show the one who makes me strong now the place that was.

Someday maybe.

Take this as a compliment but my mind took me to a piece of music, it may make sense, if it felt country and back woods and it matched your wording. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GDA708XlFIo
