Leaving

Leaving

A Poem by Chloe

I doubted if I should ever come back.

The days blew by,

And many past.

Mom doesn’t know,

The bad way I went.

She’s probably happy now,

Happy I left.

All those dumb mistakes,

Wisped into one.

I bet my mom hates me,

I’m not her number one.

Mom I messed up,

I know I did.

But can’t you care?

I’m still your kid.

Yet the days blew by,

And many past.

And I doubted if I should ever come back.
