Time Has Stolen My Youth

Time Has Stolen My Youth

A Poem by Cassidy Mask

Time has stolen my youth

Wounds have bled me dry

Lies have hidden the truth

Clouds have hidden the sky

Dreams have let me forget

Days have danced into past

Rain has made my skin wet

Waves have broken my mast

Walls have kept me inside

Giving has made me take

Foes have led me to hide

Darkness has kept me awake

I like the extremities, the circularity of the piece. Great job!
