A Matter Of Time

A Matter Of Time

A Poem by Cassidy Mask

It was

  A Matter

Of

            Time

The Figure

  Stood

At Your

            Shoulder

            Seeming

Quite

   At

            Home

I Lay

            Still

On                         Your

            Palm

                        Lonely

Lonely

            Lonely

            Time

Had

No

            Care

   For

                        Us

She

Stood

Her

Ground

            In             Her

Castle

                        On

                        The

            Hill

A

            Princess

In Her Own Right

I

            Captured

            Her

In Fingers

Made               Of

            Ice

But                   She

            Escaped

            Me

                        Falling

Through

To

            The

Clouds

Love how you spaced out the words in this piece. makes for an engaging and interesting read! Totally fits the title, words stretched out, like we would like to stretch time! Well done!
