Angel At The Window

Angel At The Window

A Poem by Cassidy Mask

Angel stood at my window by night

I was afraid of the dark

For that’s where evil hid

I didn’t feel safe until morning light

Angel came to the window for me

I couldn’t get down

For the walls were to high

And they fell straight down to the sea

Angel wrapped his wings around me

I was afraid I’d fall

For he was taking me high

But he told me the sky was the key
