(I'll Be Gone)

(I'll Be Gone)

A Poem by Cassidy Mask

One last time.

Maybe you could just

Hold me.

I don’t deserve it

But maybe,

Just one more time,

You could pretend you

Love me don’t hate me.

Maybe

You could close your eyes

And forget it’s me.

We’ll sleep

And when you wake

I’ll be gone.

One last time

Could you hold me…?

Nice simple topic conveyed in a simple poem that gets right to the point. A lot of emotion here, nice poem.
