Art Nouveau / If You Were A Movement

Art Nouveau / If You Were A Movement

A Poem by Cassidy Mask

We’re dancing in our seats

To the sound of a ticking clock

And you’re pointing your finger

Like you hold the trigger

‘cause if you were a movement

You’d be the jerking motion

Of a gunshot victim

We get out our Pilot Drawing Pens

08 because we want this to show

And we join ourselves

With the curving lines

Of our dreamscapes, pigment ink

Designing the cage that

Holds us together

And if you were a movement

You’d be soft as hell
