A Poem by Cassidy Mask
"

from an altered book i'm making

"

each                                                      thought

                was a thing

                                always

                talking

           the present instance

was no exception            but

he hardly noticed             he was

conscious       and

he heard a          voice     he

                didn’t particularly relish

But this afternoon it was different.

This is my favourite of the three like this posted together, but I love them all. The last line of this one just changes the tone completely, but is still completely ambiguous and, depending on how you read it, could make the whole thing funny or ominous..so cleva!...which i guess is what you meant to do and I've just pointed out the obvious... But what is am 'altered book'? You shall have to tell more!
