Dust Mite

Dust Mite

A Poem by Cassidy Mask

I killed it with the

Flick of a finger.

Remorseless

I watched the

Aging papers beneath

The corpse.

There was something

Fitting in the demise

Of so small a creature.

It matched the part

Of me that died

With you.
