You hid the clocks That ticked away My life in Every room And fixed a Half shy smile On stretched lips.
Still nothing could hide Your spasms of grief And guilt, you wore Your pain like a heavy scar And in the darkness Tore the scab from Off the wound To watch the Flow of tears and Blood and How they mixed.
