I Miss You, I Miss Us

I Miss You, I Miss Us

A Poem by Clark Vincent

I MISS YOU

Each day passes by without the sun shining.
Each night is as dull with moon thats missing.
The streets I walk by are calling your name,
Longing for the time when I'll see you again.

Marvel movies won't be the same if it's just me watching,
The mountains lose their color, the outdoors will have no meaning.
There's no one for me to text good morning to,
No one for me to share every breathtaking view.

Everything and everyone reminds me of you.
Days are long, nights are colder, sadness linger too.
I watch these words flow from a long way off
waiting, wishing, hoping to not get scoffed.

I know well and true that what I did was wrong,
And I can just accept that youre ignoring me this long.
I deserve it all this I admit,
But please promise me that you wont forget.

There's lots of things for you that I can still do,
Patiently waiting, Loving, still thinking of you.
You deserve nothing but the best each day,
But this I can say, maturing more everyday,
Slowly and surely becoming a better version of me.
