You

You

A Poem by Claudia Larsen

You

My mind

Is encased

With poisonous thoughts

Of you.

Every Morning

I wake up

To the thoughts

Of your beauty.

Every afternoon
I daydream

Of your smile.

And

Every night

I replay

Your voice

Telling me

That you

Didn’t

Love

Me.
