Author's Note

Hi, a first-time writer here who is just looking for some feedback and critique on a story I have always wanted to write. It's a very, very rough first draft of the first few thousand words. But, I mainly wanted to know if I should carry on, or stick to my day job and leave the writing to the writers.

I know the formatting needs a lot of work but is the story interesting, would anyone read this and can I actually write more importantly?
