Memories are Forever

to my two lovers who gave us the experience of a lifetime

My mistakes look like people

who I never really loved

but made them feel otherwise.

To search for a love

in someone else

that should exist within yourself

first, is pointless.

He was lonely

She was sad

They needed each other.

So the story goes

A love triangle 

Secrets whispered under the same ceiling

In the same bed

But with a different person

Pop a pill and fall in love with each other one more time

Oh to feel warm in someone else's arms

To be adored and be nothing at all

Pop a pill fall in love with me one last time

I should've anticipated the consequence

That a love so infatuated with me

Would lead us no where

And so the story unfolds

A love triangle

With no love at all

Ends in both fire and ice

a catastrophe inside each of us

A runaway train that has 

put..                               put...                                                       put....

its very last breath all the way to the end.
