The story of a broken girl

this is about someone who has been broken and beaten down until they no longer feel anything.

she tried so hard to make everybody smile,

she put up a wall,

a façade.

all she wanted was to be happy,

but she was not capable of achieving happiness.

she could not stop the tears from coming,

nor the thoughts that entered her mind.

all she wanted was to b r e a t h e,

but even that was difficult.

her broken pieces lay untouched,

no one there to stitch her up.

so as you read this, bear in mind

that the story of a broken girl was written as she cried.
