Then and now

Then and now

A Poem by Mr_Deathly
"

explaining my relationship past and present

"

In the beginning we had so much fun.

Now in days we bearly have none.

we were brought together by the same desire in life.

Now where on the path where you 're becoming my wife.

Two years ago I told you I was in love with you .

Now you push me away when I try to hug on you.

I remember we used to have so many intimate nights.

Now it seem like we just argue and fight.

We used to talk for hours on the phone.

Now it seem like when where around each other we rather be only.

When we first met, we had so much in common it was crazy.

Now I can't believe how you're pregnant and having my baby.

We used to wonder in future of this relationship what is to come.

Now I sit here asking my self are we truly done.

I really like how the writing is large when you convey the happy, 'warm' thoughts, and then tiny when you convey the dismal, 'cold' thoughts. A cool, unique way of writing a poem.

This sounds like life to me. All too often, that which was beautiful and wonderful unravels, leaving a tangled mess. Relationships can be made to work, but it takes determination and comprimise on both sides.
