Oh! Creature cruel and cold,
What doth maketh thee so bold?
Art all thy secrets covered with lies?
All hidden by some elaborate disguise.

I wish to capture thy heart by knowing,
Thy secrets, that thou art not showing.
I shall remain and keep thy company,
So that I may unravel this grand mystery.

Alas now you leave, depart to go,
I now realise that I yet may never know,
But as I follow you one thing I know is true,
With every thought and with all my heart,
           I love you.
