If Childhood Lasted Forever

If Childhood Lasted Forever

A Poem by Cocoacandy

Pretty posies in my hand,

swaying in the wind.

A silver satin sundress,

billowing out behind.

A young girl, I must seem,

running in this meadow.

Laughter floating on the wind,

the warm sun on my face.

Don't you wish you could live like this,

If childhood lasted forever?

A beautiful and positive poem. To be young in mind and heart would allow life to be better and less stressful. Thank you for the excellent poem.
