Where Ever Life Takes Us

I'm a sophmore and my gf is a senior. She leaves for college 3 hours away at the end of summer.

 They say age ain't nothing but a number,

And time ain't nothing but a thing.

But for the first time in my life,

I fear what the future might bring.

Will I lose you forever?

Or find a way to stay with you?

Am I bound by borders,

That keep my dreams from coming true?

I always knew that it was coming,

But it never seemed so real.

Some day i'll find a way,

To show you how i truly feel.

If distance is the only problem,

That's one we can overcome.

I'll fuel up my car and drive,

It's merely hours from where i'm from.

I hope some day you read this,

And I hope you'll know it's true.

I can't believe I ever lived,

In a life without you.
