Why you?

There's no saying why I fell for you,

But i'm landing pretty hard.

Like a shuffled deck, a random draw,

And you're the most random card.

Is it your awkward smile, or adorable laugh,

That strikes me in the heart?

Or could it be, that secretly,

I've loved you from the start?

You aren't like all the other girls,

You're quiet and you're shy.

So could it be, that possibly,

Thats why you caught my eye?

A friend of ours keeps telling me,

That your thoughts for me aren't true.

Too late i'm on a one way train,

And the destinations you.

What city will I find there?

Paradise or living Hell?

Will I wake up feeling happy?

Surely time will tell.

If your love turns Earth to Heaven,

Then with it, silence into song.

But if it's Hell, I bid farewell,

Because that's where I belong.
