Hospital

Hospital

A Poem by Ashley

these white walls
whiter than snow
close me in
stop my glow

hospitals are for help
but yes some dont
some leave scars
i left heartbroke

the pain shot through me
once i left
flash of reality
thats what helped best

i fear to go back
fear those floor
going to bed
but hearing knocking on doors

It was like jail...
with a safer side
or home...
where strictness applied

I remember going to bed
just to wonder
"am i insane?"
or "should I be ashamed?"
