A Poem by Ashley

The beginning of the day
her smile, beautiful and bright
you think nothing of it
until it turns night
she carves, and she carves
until the next day
you try your hardest
and she pushes away
you only want the best
for her, and you
so you try your hardest, to come unglued
I wish I could help.
But who am I?
I'm only a girl
by her side.
