I Just Wanted Tacos, Man

I Just Wanted Tacos, Man

A Poem by APHDisappointment
"

bruh...

"

The hum

of the car was soothing

The hunger

for adventure was unbearable

The highway

welcomed curiosity

The heat

of the sun was intense

The hell

ish bird took to the skies

The hitched

ride drifted out to sea

The heathen

takes what isn’t his

The horse

trotted away from danger

The havoc

fueled the adrenaline in my blood

The heaven

ly crunch made it all worth it

I love how you made the nouns their own line and pretty much importance and then followed up with the verb action onto the next lines, very creative. I agree with the ish and the ly lines, they were a bit confusing but overall this work is very good.

I love how you structured the poem by dividing the sentences for a greater effect. The only lines that were a bit odd were "the hell" and "the heaven" where you had "ish" and "ly" start the second lines. Those two sentences were a bit hard to imagine that mentally but overall it was great
