A Poem by Britanie

my taste buds are getting stronger
& lately i can feel your skin inside of me.
sometimes i think it's too big and then
i stop and feel the expansion of my senses
i don't need to write to taste this twice
i only want to sleep next to you and hear you breathe.

there are half-truths in everything i say
because i love being honest
but sometimes i have to lie to get my way.
