Single State

sometimes I get political, but politics is kind of like science fiction to me

The countries like cities
walled in to abide by law
of a single state building
rising up in skyscraper glory
the metropolis of the people
the city rises high above
what was Europe

Long lost the imperial ways
to a far more civilized age
brought upon by social
revolution and reform.
The policy for the weak
and working man and the
worrisome wife.

A world of peace and
equality was the dream.
Shed by the sword
because revolution is
violent and dictatorship
is not yielded.

A work in progress me thinks. The intention and the message is good, your descriptions are good but this cries out for expansion.
