love, what....

love, what....

A Poem by cosmoblivion

Please No CSS

Only when You and I speak alone,

am I ever really honest.

Seems the people of my life

do not understand

that emptiness is next to fullness.

Odd to have my truth

elicit sympathy or concern,

or is that simply a backwards plea

to return

to the singly care-free “me”

so reliable and true. Not for me,

nor for You,

but for hiding from the true.

 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~.......
Love, love, love
what is love
when young ones warble and cry,
singing wanting lullaby….
and mother answers
breast full and aching
milk spilling, lips shaking, suckling taking
….
when lovers moan and reach alone
across the vast and empty sheets
then whispers find
another divined to fill this perilous breach
….
when leaving the mortal coil
at last! released
and the lonely fighter speaks,
finally honest, so devastatingly alone,
knowing now the Truth is,
has always been,
Home.
About
I laugh a lot with abandon. I am not afraid to cry but do not see it as effective a form of communication as well contemplated words spoken in unconditional love. I am very motivated in life & live ea.. more..
