A Poem by cosmoblivion

Chocolate covered almonds

and warm cherry pie….

I hear the desert is burning

where the black birds fly.

Sitting in a cold room

while the world sadly sings…

haven’t so much to give

as a simple smile brings.

Memories of your kisses

and quiet soft sighs….

Paints multi-coloured dreams

over morn’s good-byes.

Children should be laughing

while butterflies dance…

amidst the robin blue sky

in whirling dervish trance.

Sinking my bare toes in sand,

I release worn mind…

sending imaginary messengers

for love’s peace to find.

Still I lie here in repose

desiring only death

of disillusioned borrowed time

into new inspired breath.

About
I laugh a lot with abandon. I am not afraid to cry but do not see it as effective a form of communication as well contemplated words spoken in unconditional love. I am very motivated in life & live ea.. more..
