The Boy With A Smile

The Boy With A Smile

A Story by Snoot

He sat alone as his friends laughed around him. He was sinking deeper into himself as the shell that he wore continued to present a facade of some form of happiness that was completely alien to him. As he continued to sink, the insatiable hands of hell continued to pull him deeper into his own personal hell lake. He screamed but was unheard. He mutilated his mind yet no one saw. He felt as if he was the personification of brokenness, the image of "great life", and the shriveled remains of what was. He was lost, and he couldn't find a way out. He chose the road less traveled, and it was one he regretted.
