A Poem by Chasity

Things are hard
when all I want
is to be happy and
something else messes
up for me
When you are around
I forget all my problems
and enjoy the times
I have with you
When you are gone
I feel so lost and I
don't know how to be
But I try my hardest
and make it through
the day without you
hoping that I'll at
least get to talk to you
and then life will
be okay and I'll
be happy again
