Short poem of life

Trapped here in this life a life of hate
Placed by bad decision and twist of fate
Each day so cold, dark, empty and hollow
Here in madness and misery forced to wallow.
Look from the outside and it's not what you will see
There's smiles and laughter and days full of glee
But look again closer behind the painted smile
You will see the desperation to escape for a while.

Waiting for the next life. Waiting to be wild.
For the chains and binds to be broken,no more meek and mild.
Obedient and demure always doing what is told
But reality is ruled by life, no daring to be bold
To love and be loved unconditionally without fear
To know true emotion not to force back every tear.
What is the price of freedom, the price of peace of mind.
The ability to look only forward and to stop staring behind.
