Counting Blue Jeeps

Counting Blue Jeeps

A Poem by Zoe
"

I can't forget.

"
I hate you.
But I don't at all.
You make me so confused
what is real?
trying to forget to protect myself
I can't.
Every time I hear that song I think of you.
how it was different.
I could love you, you know.
That kiss...
one word: garage.
I could cry
drunken memories won't disappear.
plaid shirts, thick glasses, counting blue jeeps that remind me of you.
that smile.
memorized your face, your lips.
sun shining on my face, sundress swinging
my world turned upside down again.
You will leave again.
Because you scare me.
And I'm sorry, but I don't know your intentions.
It was meant to be
I'll never know.

I like this, yet I hate it, because i can tell it comes from your heart, and what your heart says is painful. I wish you the best of luck. keep writing. ~WolfPup

Seeing someone everywhere is scary. When everything reminds you of a person,
it feels like you have lost most of yourself. I could feel the desire to get it all back.
All of you. Nice job!

Sometime the unknown roads and desires leave us scare and afraid of what may happen in our life. I like the poem. A lot of open questions need to be answered. A strong poem with very good description and story. A excellent poem.
