I Wouldn't Mind

I Wouldn't Mind

A Poem by Emma Cathryn

My heart stops,
but the world will still turn
right 'round.,
and my throat starts to burn.
Fall to the ground,
I don't know what to say.
I feel weak,
so here I'll just lay.
Without going away,
can I ask you to stay
here please?
I wouldn't mind you with me.
Heartbreak
consumes my whole mind.
My lungs shut,
but my heart's already blind.
I miss
your fingers with mine,
your glowing green eyes
and your smile so wide.
Why'd you throw me aside?
I'm so broken
and you don't even mind.
