Standing at the Back

Standing at the Back

A Poem by Crimson_Woad

Standing at the Back

Standing at the back
Where I've always been
Always watching quietly

Never to be seen

Who am I here
The wall in the frame?
Will I spread my wings

Or will I stay the same?

I'm standing on the outside
Looking from far away
What do you want me to do
What do you want me to say

In the dark corner I slumber
The rain falling on my head
My voice a slinking whisper
Can you guess what I said?
