The Chains are Imaginary

The Chains are Imaginary

A Poem by Crimson_Woad

The Chains are Imaginary

I cannot be free from my imprisonment, my mind
Corners and unforgiving halls of shame i can find.

I am trapped to my fears, believe the lies i say to myself
The chains are imaginary, yet breaking them is real.

One direct path, with twists and turns and greywash
Who can save me, from my insanity, my prisoner paradox?

Show me a sign, where i can learn to trust.
The time capsule of my thoughts are destructive and full of rust
