Wings of Angels

Wings of Angels

A Poem by Crimson_Woad
"

Okay this is the beginning of my poems that I will place up here exclusively. The last poems on here have been posted elsewhere (*cough* *cough* facebook) and have been written from 2012 onwards.

** Wings of Angels **

Up, up, up the stairs I go
Beyond the clouds and sky
I am moving with the wind
Watch me as I spread my wing

(my wings and fly)

I can see the people
The roads, the cars
Seeing my new found power
They can't go as quick

(or as far)

The air is thin up here
Clouds surround my core
Birds flying close by
But my body never tires

(never gets sore)

I am flying amongst them
The angels along their side
Reaching out with my fingers
Stretched to touch them

(so filled with pride)

Their wings so white
Snowy and surreal
I can see they accept me
As I brush my hand pass them

(their wings I feel)

The lights they bend at will
My vision swirling around
I know my time is limited here
Quickly I fly down

(down into the ground)

Waking up, to the day begining
The doves are cooing outside
Dream I now remember clearly
Until now I have kept secret

(I've confide)
