Don't date me

Don't date me

A Poem by cristiberry
"

a bit about myself and the crazy and scary loving someone can be.

"

Date me not

I am a wild crazy confusing knot.

I flip flop sometimes, I want that or this

Sometimes just a hug and I’m in bliss

I change all the time in the slightest way

Maybe once, twice, or thrice a day.

I can be goofy and unpredictable

or quiet and invisible

or flirty and girly

or cute and quirky

or manly and comfy

or peaceful and cuddly

or hot and sophisticated

or more often opinionated

or serious and a groundbreaker

or devious and a troublemaker

or mature and philosophical

Oh yeah I’m also comical

but they have one thing in common to the tee

ME.

All I want is to travel and see everything!

from place to place I’ll swing.

But I don’t want to do it alone

I don’t want to do it on my own

the hardest words to admit is (not to be outdone):

I need someone.

Like Queen so honestly sings of,

“Can you find me somebody to love?”

I know it will be arduous work

so I warn you I am filled with little quirks.

Have you held tight a first full of light

or capture the wind or a bubble mid flight?

Are you ready?

For a whirlwind of unsteady?

Because if you are ready to be my beau

I promise you

I will love you with all of my heart.

that is the most I can offer, that is my part.

Is it enough?
