![]() BattlefieldA Poem by C_theSurrealist![]() War![]() In the eyes of phoenix, Burning to the field, Open the blazing wings, Fly up to the sky full of fire. Seas often kill calm fishes, Swarm swim to the deepest, Dive into the trenches, With the beasts and howls. Surround with trees and herbs, A mellow weather as it seems, Encompass with roaring sound, A silent nature yet disastrous. Raging on the war as always, Forced to fight for throne, Everyday I'm on the battlefield, As well as them. Focused for a target to aim, the greatest victory of knight, When on the bottom, they stare to my eyes secretly. Lonely but chuckling, When on top, they look to my recompense. Clapping yet frustrating. Pulling down towards the cliff, Pushing to fall into the nightmare, For the sake of the heavenly prize, O thee, this is battlefield. A war between abyss and paradise, Survive if you can.
