Back to You

Back to You

A Poem by carl

Back to You:

It all comes back to you

ocean wave sky blue-

echoed reverberations

blended refractions.

Life passes through trivial

to rejoin behind the veil-

acceptance granted

transparency gained.

Honest, strong and powerful words shared Carl. Us old men learn. We must find something we love, we must find a safe place. Outstanding poetry shared my friend.

I enjoy your work and you are welcome Carl.
Moments forgotten by all except those who witnessed them, in a tapestry of life that we sometimes forget the finer details of, but once the cause is remembered it just feels incredible we ever forgot the reason, swept up along with the tsunami of life going on around it.
Fitting a life unto 2 verses is rather impressive.

What a most poetic explanation of life as it passes. It is with time that clarity emerges. This poem is deep for anyone old enough to have experienced it. A lovely write.
