Poem for Elegance

Poem for Elegance

A Poem by Catherine O'neill
"

The styles a poor woman wears

"

Poem for Elegance

Chinz for 2000 dollars

Denim for 300

Cotton, poor grade, for 25.

clothes for skinny girls who forgo food

I'm inside the magazine dying for beauty,

it should be easier

mother's advice should suffice

wisdom should be the name of the game

beauty in the eyes

without too much color on them

no rags to riches or

rags for the rich

Just the elegance of a grecian robe

on a healthy body.
