Late Bloomer

Late Bloomer

A Poem by thesorrowfulflower
"

for all those days i spent in the classroom

"
Never first in line
my hand raised ever so slightly
hovering
a feeling of nervousness
runs deep in my bones
never first in line
I hide behind the crowd
quietly
an innocent smile on my face
I try to find my place
in a world so big
for a person so small
to fit into the shoes of those before me
i will have to change
this feeling i have
deep in my bones

I enjoyed reading your poem. It's not the size of the person it's the amount of love in the heart. That is where the strongest part of our humanity resides. Keep writing your wonderful messages and inspire those who think their voice is to small to shout their love loud.
