My heart so full of lust

yet so full of hate.

 

How did it come down to this?

My life in order,

yet still falling apart.

 

 

You took me

and you broke me.

I hate you

yet I love you.

 

 

How did it come down to this?

For me to feel like this,

yet feel nothing at all.

One thing that makes this poem so wonderful is that most people can probably relate to it. I also like how you used the word "lust" instead of "love," indirectly showing the distinction between the two.
