Chocolate Ice Cream

Chocolate Ice Cream

A Poem by SamBug

As I sit there in this place

I look at the twirling blue outside

Blowing the world out of proportion

And escaping the land before.

I remember the good ole days

With chocolate ice cream

While my mother watched us play.

We would remember those days

And I wouldn’t believe it when you said,

“someday will come.”

Why talk about something

Like a stone in time

While life goes on

But never stops leaving.
