No Matter

A comparison and perception piece. The final draft, (though probably not final), is a bit stilted. I've yet to figure out a way to bring more fluidity to it.

A man of the West
             walking East
                meets
A man of the East
             walking West.

A journey of Ten-thousand steps.
Paused a moment,
              observing one another;
continuing on.

A man traveling East,
               looking over his shoulder
               sees a man of the West....
                   while
A man traveling West,
               looking over his shoulder
               sees a man of the East....

The purpose of the journey.... No matter
                Balance continues.
