Awakened

Inspired by nature.

I've lost myself.
In the beauty of the desert sky.
In the infinity of mountains.
I've lost myself in natures arms with such effortless comfort.

I've found myself.
With a beating heart,
With tears which flow through me.

I've heard the wind calling me through the trees. 
I've felt the sunshine as I hop scotched smooth circular stones.

I've opened my heart to the sky, and it remains, open to me.
I've understood that the Universe and I will forever be in motion, 
And I will fade with each flower, as time does little to stop for me.

I've lost myself in multiple chapters,
And found myself swimming against the ocean’s tide,
Only as its gentle waters carried me to shore.

I have lost myself and I have found myself, 
I have been awakened to the magnitude of such brilliant beauty

This is quite possibly my favorite line. I can vividly imagine the person is this poem being lost at sea only to be lifted and carried back to where they belong. This is such a joyous poem. To me it means being able to find your way after being lost, and I relate a lot to this because I feel that a lot of people become lost only to find their way back again. This was awesome writing, keep up the good work!
