Stress Testing

Stress Testing

A Poem by Ben Taylor

My thumb aches,
a dull pain slowly being sharpened
by use and reuse of a minor fracture.

Every action has a backbone,
a segmented spine with reality as marrow,

no matter how indecipherable
your intoxicated intentions
may now seem.

So the question is:
are you spineless,
or just afraid to discuss the truth?
