My boyfriend inspired this. It took me a long time to write it.

I hate when you leave, please stay awhile

and I really hope you'll never go.
For if I lost you, I'd surely die,
leaving you with nothing but a sad goodbye.

You bring so much joy into my life
You take the pain away from life's sharp knife
My love for you burns red like fire
leaving my separation from you nearly dire
If words were enough
I'd write them all
but right now all I can do is fall
deeper deeper ever deeper I fall
falling fast into your eyes
