The Pain of Love

This was my first ever haiku and it was written for my ex husband; I am no longer in love with him but I'll always love him. 

the pain you bring me

is not a pain of heartache

but a pain of love

It'll probably always be my favorite one and it's the only poetry I actually enjoying writing, aside from free verse. But we can all free verse, so it's not very special or unique, and I like to be both.
